Couples Therapy

Whether you and your partner are in crisis, going through a rough spot, or simply wanting to deepen your intimacy, couples therapy can help support you both in reaching your goals.

My work with couples focuses on how to help each partner recognize emotional triggers that lead to defensiveness and isolation. Many times, instead of allowing our authentic emotions to guide us in relationships, we get scared of being vulnerable and pull back from our partners instead of moving toward them for support.

I teach couples how to communicate their feelings to one another clearly and effectively so they can strengthen mutual support and understanding. I have experience and expertise in working with LGBTQIA2S+, blended and non-traditional families, C/ENM and Poly, as well as with co-parenting after divorce or separation. I have had extensive training in several couples therapy modalities including Relational Life Therapy and EFT.
